Yadavas in Andhra Pradesh perform Palabhishekam to K Chandrasekhar Rao
Vijayawada: Telangna Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was honoured by the Yadavas in Andhra Pradesh with the latter performing palabhishekam to his portrait in Vijayawada on Tuesday. The Yadavas said they were happy that Mr Rao declared one Rajya Sabha seat and one MLC post to their counterparts in the neighbouring Telugu state.
The programme was organised under the leadership of Lakkanaboyina Venu and Kolusu Satish. Impressed with Mr Rao for allotting 10 acres and funds for construction of Yadava Bhavan, the members of Andhra Pradesh Yadava Yuvabheri performed Palabhishekam to his portrait, as a mark of respect to his gesture. They raised slogans praising Mr Rao.
All India Yadava Mahasabha Krishna district president Boddu Ramesh Yadav said the people of his community will respect any government whichever works for their welfare. This act of the Yadavas drew the attention of both Telugu states as it was following Mr Rao’s indefinite fast that led to the division of the state and formation of Telangana. Now, Mr Rao is being honoured by the people of the same state who fought against split.
