TIRUPATI: “This is a proud movement for Telugu Desam(TD) government as NTR’s first swearing as Chief Minister on the same day in 1983 and now after 35 years we are participating in Janma Bhoomi on the same day”, said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Mr Naidu participated in Janma Bhoomi - Maa Vooru at Nainyala village under Kuppam constituency in Chittoor district on Tuesday.
Addressing the huge gathering the Chief Minister said, “I will always be thankful to people of Kuppam for supporting me from past 30 years. 16000 villages are celebrating the Janma Bhoomi in a festive atmosphere. In this programme, we will also deposit the scholarships into the bank account of students, who come from a poor background.”
He added, “More than 90 Lakhs houses will be build with Rs 50,000 Crore. We are also developing infrastructure in all the villages. More than Rs 24’000 Crore loan weaver was given to the farmers and taken up irrigation projects with Rs 50000 Crore. We will also encourage joint families soon, as the joint families are part of our Indian culture, which is missing everywhere.”
