Hyderabad: The hostel warden, who was filmed beating two children of 7th grade from tribal welfare residential hostel in Sangareddy district, is suspended. The warden will be suspended until a final inquiry report is submitted.
Mr Yadaiah, the warden, had punished 12-year-old Parameshwar and Lakshman on Sunday by asking them to stand upside down for more than two hours. He threatened to hit them if they fall down.
The video of the warden forcing two school children to stand upside down went viral on social media on Monday. The video was shot by the neighbours who shared it on social media.
C. Manemma, district tribal development officer, said, “We have conducted an inquiry and suspended the warden on Monday evening. He will be suspended till the final report is submitted to the DEO.”
