Ministers target Mudragada Padmanabham

They couldn't understand if he is fighting for the good of Kapu community or for personal rivalry against Chief Minister.

Vijayawada: Ministers N. Chinarajappa, Ganta Srinivasa Rao, P. Narayana and K. Mrunalini, all belonging to the Kapu community, wrote an open letter to Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham on Monday demanding him to remove the mask of YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy and suggested him to join hands with the YSRC openly, instead of being undercover and carrying out Jagan’s agenda.

In the letter, they also said that they couldn't understand if he is fighting for the good of Kapu community or for personal rivalry against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as he is participating in meetings with the YSRC and Congress. In reaction to the letter to the Chief Minister by Padmanabham on Sunday, the Kapu ministers wrote the letter stating that Mudragada Padmanabham was trying to assassinate the character of Mr Naidu, who is striving hard for the well-being of Kapu community.

They also reminded that the Congress had incorporated in its manifesto about Kapu reservation in 2004 and didn’t take any action on it and questioned why Mr Padmanabham had not questioned about it at that time. They faulted Mr Padmanabham for questioning about the Kapu quota now when the CM is trying to resolve the issue. In the letter, the ministers said everybody knew the intentions of Mr Padmanabham in meeting YSRC leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and APCC chief N. Raghuveera Reddy. They said even the public knows that Padmanabham made an issue of Kapu reservation only to settle personal scores with the CM which shows mudragada’s political benefit.

They also said that public had come to know all about their politics in making Kapu reservation issue as a stage for them to benefit his personal rivalry. However Mudragada reacting to this letter said that his protest in favour of Kapu community shall continue as per the scheduled plan at anycost.
