HYDERABAD: NITI Aayog member and scientist Dr V.K. Saraswat said progress could not be left to borrowing of technology and improving upon it. “We need to focus on developing our technologies and changing those that we import. The road to development is full of perils; we should take risks,” he he said.
He was delivering the Maulana Azad National Urdu University’s 19th Foundation Day lecture on Monday. He said India could progress in the field of defence technologies as it had demonstrated an unbending will.
