Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has suggested that the universities in the state adopt and develop villages, like Berkley University. He also suggested that students of those villages should take part in campaigns promoting cashless transactions, use of LED bulbs and Fibernet in that villages.
Addressing a trele-conference with the collectors, bankers, nodal officers on ‘Janmabhoomi-Maa Ooru', on Monday, the Chief Minister said that every village should produce at least 10 heroes, on the lines of Mori heroes. He also suggested tha officers carry out detailed studies on solid and liquid wastes.
The Chief Minister said he has explained the experiences of Andhra Pradesh government in addressing corruption through technology, during his Sri Lanka tour. He also stated that our real time governance has become a model not only to the Nation, but it got recognition globally.
