CM Jagan to Open Kidney Hospital in SKL on December 15
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will inaugurate a kidney centre and research hospital and launch a Rs 700 crore drinking water project for Uddanam area in Palasa in Srikakulam district on December 15.
This was announced by fisheries minister Dr Seediri Appala Raju while conducting a review meeting with Srikakulam collector Srikesh Lathkar and SP G.R. Radhika as also senior officials in Srikakulam on Friday.
Narasannapeta MLA and former deputy chief minister Dharmana Krishnadas was also present.
The minister told the heads of department to turn the event into a festival. “Send invitations to all the MPTCs, ZPTCS, municipal counsellors and corporators,” he said.
The Chief Minister would also set the foundation stone for an industrial park in Srikakulam. Collector Lathkar said the CM would arrive in Makarampuram village under Kanchili mandal by helicopter from Visakhapatnam. He would inaugurate YSR Sujaladhara, a drinking water project having a capacity of 20,000 kilo litres. The Roads and Building department would prepare a helipad in the village for the CM’s landing.
The Chief Minister would fly to the kidney research centre by helicopter. He would address a public meeting on the railway grounds. The problem of water logging should be attended to at the meeting venue, officials were told.
The collector also asked the officials to make provisions for drinking water, food etc for the gathering and sanitise the entire area. He told the revenue staff to arrange four counters for Jagananna Ku Chebudam.
SP Radhika said 2,000 civil and armed reserve police personnel would be deployed for the Chief Minister’s visit.
