Ramanagara cops raid rave party, arrest 10

Hundreds of youngsters from Bengaluru, Tamil Nadu and Kerala were at the party, for which the tickets were sold through an online app.

Bengaluru: The Ramanagara police raided a rave party organised by some private people illegally and arrested 10 people. The party was organised at a mango groove near Vibhuthipura village near Ramanagara.

The land belongs to Venkatesh, who own a 32-acre plot. The party was in the middle of the mango groove and the organisers had put up a shamiyana and made arrangements.

Hundreds of youngsters from Bengaluru, Tamil Nadu and Kerala were at the party, for which the tickets were sold through an online app. There was music, liquor and dance at the party, but so far, there is no confirmation of drugs being seized.

The police, who got information about the party, raided it under the leadership of Ramanagara SP Anoop Shetty. The police seized the sound system, liquor bottles and cameras. They also arrested 10 people, including organisers Madhumita, Puranik, Nabira and Richu. The investigation is on.
