Bengaluru: A 32-year-old man was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing and cheating women aspirants in the city, posing as a manager with a reputed multinational.

J.P. Nagar police said that the accused, identified as Kishore alias Manjunath, a resident of Hanumanthanagar, had allegedly claimed that he was a human resources manager with a multinational and used to get the phone numbers of women from their resumes posted on a job portal.

The police arrested the accused on December 1, seized his phones and produced him before a magistrate, who remanded him in judicial custody.

During investigation the police found that he had conned many other women job aspirants, who were now refusing to come forward to lodge a complaint against him.
