Hydreabad: A 21-year-old youth died after being mowed down by an RTC bus at Langer Houz in Hyderabad on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Praveen Kumar, 21, a flowers salesman, police said.
“While he was crossing the Langer Houz area on Saturday, the RTC bus, bearing number plate, TS 07 UB 5916, ran him over, killing him on the spot” said Langer Houz police inspector, Ch. Srinivas, adding that the driver, Janaki Reddy, who fled the scene was taken into custody.
