Chandrababu Naidu invited to TN
Vijayawada: President of Hosur Telugu Association and former MLA from Tamil Nadu K.E. Manoharan invited Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to participate in the meeting of Telugus in Hosur and to address Telugu people living in Tamil Nadu.
The former MLA formally met Mr Naidu at his residence at Undavalli village here on Saturday and, as part of his discussions, informed the Chief Minister that Telugu people of Tamil Nadu wish him to visit their state.
He asked Mr Naidu to take initiatives to reopen Telugu schools that were closed earlier. Manoharan also told the CM that their association members desire that many of the development programmes there be inaugurated by Mr Naidu.
Manoharan is the person who had once raised a question in the Tamil Nadu Assembly in Telugu. The then Chief Minister of the state late J. Jayalalitha responded to him in Telugu.
