Telangana: Teaching bodies to jam TRS plan
Hyderabad: The Telangana state government is in the danger of losing 20 lakh votes in the upcoming elections.
These votes are from the employees, the teachers, the non-teaching staff, the college managements and their families of the government recognised institutions in Telangana from KG to PG, and the non-corporate, non-teaching staff established by the Telangana unemployed youth.
All of them were unhappy with the state government due to pending fee reimbursements.
The KG to PG Joint Action Committee (JAC) which covers the major chunk of the schools and colleges from KG to PG education alleged that about 70,000 to 80,000 employees and staff lost their jobs in the private colleges and schools because of no fee reimbursements.
“About 5,000 institutions from KG to PG level were closed due to the lack of fee revision since last 10 years and pending fee reimbursement dues. The joint action committee said that they and their families will not vote for TRS government if they don’t clear their fee reimbursements as early as possible,” said Mr Ramana Reddy, Member, Telangana KG to PG Joint Action Committee.
