Bengaluru: The city received 74 mm of rain till 7 pm on Monday. “Rain and thundershowers are very likely for the next few days,” said an official from the Meteorological Department. According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is marked over north coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh and along with it, a north-south trough will develop across interior Karnataka. The interaction of these two weather systems will lead to rains over Bengaluru for at least next two to three days. “There was heavy rainfall on the outskirts and light rainfall within the city. We have not received any complaints of tree fleeing or water clogging,” said a BBMP official.
