Petrol bunk owners back transport stir in Telugu states

Hyderabad: Petrol bunk owners in the Telugu states have extended their support to the strike called by the United Petroleum Front.

All petrol pumps will remain closed on October 13. The pumps will go on indefinite strike from October 27 if the Centre fails to address their demands. Petrol pump owners want fuel to be taxable under the GST, revision of dealer commission every six months, cancellation of the daily revision of fuel prices and withdrawal of the proposal to launch home delivery services for fuel, Mr Rajiv Amaram, the president of the Telangana Petroleum Dealers Association, said.
