AP DIG Most Incompetent and Stupid, Says Nara Lokesh
Lokesh challenged the police to arrest Avinash Reddy, accused of killing his own uncle, Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy at Pulivendula

KAKINADA: Telugu Desam National General Secretary Nara Lokesh, the son of the former Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu described the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) as 'Stupid'.
He challenged the police to arrest first Avinash Reddy, the accused in Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case. He told the police that they have become 'Bakaras' to the Chief Minister Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Lokesh was prevented by the police from leaving Podalada in Dr.B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District on Saturday, as Lokesh made an attempt to go to Vijayawada to meet his arrested father and the former Chief Minister.
The police obstructed Lokesh and other TD leaders from embarking the car and the protesting TD leader sat down on the ground and staged a stir by holding the National Flag, arguing with the police that he had every right to meet his father.
The police had no right to detain him at the spot and the constitution had given him the right to move about freely and to meet his father. However, the police officials tried to persuade Lokesh that this might lead to law and order problems.
Lokesh replied that he was going alone and he was not accompanied by TD leaders and cadres. Therefore, there was no reason to apprehend that law and order and problems should arise. The police did not have the right to prevent his freedom of movement, as he was only going to Vijawayawada to meet his father. He asked the police officials, "suppose if you are arrested on some ground, does your son or daughter have the right to meet you. Will he or she be also detained?"
Describing the Director Inspector General of Police as a stupid mindless person, Mr Lokesh challenged the police to arrest Avinash Reddy, accused of killing his own uncle, Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy at Pulivendula. "You do your duty properly and arrest Avinash Reddy. My father and I are not guilty of anything, why are you detaining us," he asked the police.
