Mayor Gangambike: Finish TenderSure road work in Majestic soon
BENGALURU: BBMP Mayor Gangambike inspected the TenderSURE works taken up in the Majestic area and directed officials to speed up the works and finish it soon without creating any inconvenience to traders and citizens.
TenderSURE works have been taken up in Gandhinagar area running up to 9.73 km at a cost of Rs 129 crore. This included works on six main roads and 17 interior roads. Already works have been completed on Dhanvanthari Road and 11 interior roads. Only works remain to be completed on five main roads and six interior roads, the Mayor said.
She directed officials and the traffic department to work together so that people do not suffer by taking up all works simultaneously with little scope for them to travel.
Mayor who also visited Himalaya Layout in Gandhinagar received complaints from residents that the sewage pipes are leaking and they are facing drinking water issues. Mayor called up an BWSSB official on the spot and asked him to address the issues.
