Hyderabad High Court reserves order on teachers
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday reserved its orders on petition challenging the amendment to the Presidential Order 1975 for implementation of unified service rules for teachers.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Thottathil .B. Radhakrishnan and Justice V. Ramasubramanian was concluding hearing the of the petition by the government teachers association of Telangana state challenging the constitutional validity of Para 2A of the Presidential Order inserted on June 23, 2014.
The bench was also hearing an application by the TS government seeking to vacate status quo orders issued on July 31, 2017 with regard to the implementation of the Unified Service Rules.
It may be mentioned here that the petitions by Panchayat Raj teachers of AP have been pending for the adjudication before the AP Administrative Tribunal.
