N Chandrababu Naidu's no fund' video surfaces online
KURNOOL: A video of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu saying there were no funds for the development of Nandyal has surfaced ahead of the campaign of YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in the town that is heading for bypolls.
This has forced local TD managers scurry for explanations as it has the potential to harm the prospects of TD candidate Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy. The video was purportedly shot at a meeting at the Junior College ground at Deebaguntla village near Nandyal and has YSRC nominee Shilpa Mohan Reddy, who was in the TD at that time, reading out a wish list for funds for Nandyal.
Mr Naidu is shown purportedly telling Mr Mohan Reddy that funds were not available to fulfill his wishes. The main demand was funds for road widening and the drainage system. Mr Mohan Reddy has been accused by Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya of not getting funds for Nandyal when he was in the Telugu Desam.
