Vijaya Sai lauds YSR for farm sector revival
Vijayawada: YSR Congress senior leader and MP V. Vijaya Sai Reddy lauded the late chief minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, on the social networking service Twitter on Monday, for reviving the farm sector by providing free power, waiver of farm loans and by taking up several irrigation projects in the state.
To mark the birth anniversary of late CM YSR and also as the state government is observing YSR Rythu Dinotsav, the YSR Congress MP said that as long as YSR served as the CM of undivided AP, the state used to witness good rainfall and said that the late CM had made his mark of governance in the state providing welfare to the people.
Referring to the launch of health schemes like Arogya Sri and 108 ambulance service during the late CM YSR regime, he said that the people in the state would never forget the benefit they derived from such schemes. He said that the fee reimbursement scheme was a major hit as a large number of students hailing from a poor family background pursued higher studies and settled well in their lives. He said that YSR was cherished by the people in the state as he was close to their heart by doing good things.
