Kadapa: The district officials worked very hard for the last one week to make Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s public meeting at Jammalamadugu a grand success.
It is learnt that the CM was happy with the arrangements at the venue of the public meeting.
District collector Ch. Harikiran assigned the works to different teams of officials and also ensured that the teams worked in coordination.
The officials of the agriculture wing and related departments played a major role in making the meeting a success.
In the last one week, the officials held several meeting with the district and mandal level officials.
The stalls arranged by the agriculture and horticulture departments impressed the Chief Minister who came late to the venue by one hour.
started at 11.15 Am and concludes by 1.15 Pm. But the Chief Minister arrived at the stage by 2.15 Pm. Almost one hour late, even the lunch time; no people left the meeting place. All the compartments are crowded with the local people. The meeting was concluded by 3.15 PM. The public were responded to the CM speech with good response. The police are made very good security arrangements. The Superintendent of police Mr Abhishek Mohanthi personally supervised the security arrangements. The officers are not arranged even a single cooler or fan in the gallaries. The public are suffered with sweating and heat. Anyhow the first official meeting of the New Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in his native district was become a grand success.
