Hyderabad: Telangana State Election Commissioner V. Nagireddy said on Monday that the voters list for municipal elections will be announced on July 14 and the election notification would be issued later. By that time, reservations would also be completed.

He said there are more than 50 lakh voters in municipalities and elections will be held through ballot papers only. In the process of municipal elections, he said a meeting would be held with collectors and SPs on July 11 and a meeting with municipal commissioners will be held on July 13. He said expenditure limit for councillor and corporator is Rs 2 lakh and Rs 3 lakh respectively.
