AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi to revisit Bihar

The AIMIM chief will address public meetings in Seemanchal later this week and meet local party workers.

HYDERABAD: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi will be revisiting Bihar to begin the campaign for the ensuing parliamentary elections. The AIMIM chief will address public meetings in Seemanchal later this week and meet local party workers.

The party had unsuccessfully contested Assembly elections in Bihar in 2015. The party had fielded candidates in six Assembly segments — Kishanganj, Baisi, Amour, Raniganj, Balrampur and Raniganj. Mr Owaisi will be addressing two public meetings in the Purnea division of the Seemanchal area of Bihar. Party sources said that the party will once again concentrate on the Seemanchal area which has a huge Muslim population.
