Hyderabad: A 65-year-old man was found murdered at his residence in Trimul-gherry on Saturday morning. Reportedly, he was in Lothkunta on Friday night consuming alcohol with his friend, who later dropped him off to his residence in Trimulgherry.
The deceased was identified as Arogya Das, 65, a private employee.
According to the police, Das is survived by his wife and two children, with whom he was previously putting up at his house in Trimulgherry. In order to initiate the demolition and reconstruction of his house in Trimulgherry, however, he had very recently moved his family to Khajaguda.
A friend dropped Das back to his residence in Trimulgherry. On Saturday morning, however, Chiranjeev, another friend, returned to the house to check on him and found him dead.
Chiranjeev noted blood stains and injuries on his chest following which, he informed both the police and Arogya's family members almost immediately.
Subsequently, the police along with its dog squad and clues team rushed to the spot and collected blood samples. The Trimulgherry po-lice registered a case of murder. Further investigation is underway.
