Coimbatore: ‘Bar Nagaraj’, one of the alleged offenders in the Pollachi sexual scam case was again arrested and imprisoned by Pollachi police in connection with a group clash.Police said, 28-year-old ‘Bar Nagaraj’ was in the previous case arrested and later released on bail for assaulting the brother of a victim involved in the Pollachi sexual harassment case.
In a new development, Nagaraj and 7 of his associates, including a 17-year-old boy, allegedly assaulted a group of six persons in a money transaction dispute over purchase of a pet dog.
Sabarish (23), resident of Pollachi - Uthukaadu, had taken a dog from 21-year-old Jebin Joesph, a few months ago promising money, but Sabarish had postponed settling the amount.
On Friday night, Jebin and his friends Anup (21), Santhosh (21), Ragavendra (21), Janagaraj (20) and a 17- year-old boy, had gone to the place of Sabarish demanding money. There, the gang including Sabarish, assaulted Jebin and others, leading to bar Nagaraj’s re-arrest.
