N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch Eruvaka to begin kharif cultivation practices from Udegolam village.

Anantapur: In the wake of good signs of South West monsoon in Rayalaseema region, the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will launch Eruvaka to begin kharif cultivation practices from Udegolam village in Rayadurgam mandal in Anantapur district on Friday.

Mr Naidu is scheduled to take part in the Eruvaka programme and begin cultivation practices for kharif season. The Chief Minister would reach Udegolam village after reaching Puttaparthi airport by special aircraft.

Mr Naidu would begin groundnut seed sowings in the lands of farmer Vannappa and also offer ganga poojas for a farm pond at farmer M. Kumar fields in the village. The Chief Minister will interact with the farmers and public and also address public meetings at Udegolam village, Information and Public Relations minister Kaluva Srinivasulu told this newspaper. Mr Naidu is also scheduled to review the ongoing irrigation projects in the district.
