Hyderabad: Woman critical after wall collapses on her
Hyderabad: A 36-year old housewife sustained severe injuries when the compound wall of her house in Vanasthalipuram collapsed. Bhavani had gone out to fetch water, when the compound wall collapsed due to the heavy rains and the weight of debris from an under- construction building on Thursday. She was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors performed three major surgeries and her left kidney has also been removed.
Her condition is critical. Vanasthalipuram case registered a case against the builder of the under-construction apartment. S. Bhavani is a housewife who is residing in Sushma Nagar colony in Vanasthalipuram in a rented flat in a two-storeyed building.
On Thursday morning, along with seven women, all tenants of the same building she was filling water from a municipal tap located in the compound. Suddenly there was a huge noise and a portion of the 14-foot high compound wall came down and Bhavani, who was walking just beside the wall, got stuck in the debris.
