YSRC leaders lodge complaints against Chandrababu Naidu
Visakhapatnam: District YSRC leaders lodged complaints against CM Chandrababu Naidu in several police stations across Visakhapatnam district on Wednesday for allegedly not fulfilling poll promises during his two-year tenure. YSRC district president Gudivada Amarnath and YSRC Vizag East constituency in-charge Vamsikrishna Srinivas filed a complaint in Three Town police station of the city.
Mr Amarnath said, “TD’s governance in the last two years has been an utter failure. By making about 500 unrealistic promises during the general elections, Naidu assumed office. But no promise, including loan waiver, a job for every household, stipend for the unemployed, railway zone for Visakhapatnam, Special Category Status to AP and special funds for the backward areas has been so far been realised. This is a clear case of cheating and breach of promise and we seek the police to register a case against Naidu under Section 420.”
Earlier, the YSRC leaders conducted rallies in various parts of the city shouting slogans on failures of the TD government. YSRC leaders and workers assembled at police stations in all constituencies and submitted complaints to the police officials. YSRC Vizag South constituency in-charge Kola Guruvulu and others lodged complaint in Two Town police station, while YSRC leader and ex-MLA Tynala Vijay Kumar registered a compliant in Fourth Town PS. YSRC leaders Koyya Prasad Reddy, Ravi Reddy, Pakki Diwakar, and others were present.
