Not thought of any post for VS Achuthanandan: Pinarayi Vijayan
Thiruvananthapuram: Amid reports that CPI(M) veteran VS Achuthanandan would be given a post with cabinet rank, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan today said they have not "thought of it now."
"We have not thought of it now," Vijayan said when asked about reports that Achuthanandan, former chief minister, would soon be given a senior post.

CPI(M) General Secretary, Sitaram Yechury, had after a two-day politburo meeting in Delhi, stated that it was for the state government to take a decision on the matter.
Achuthanandan had in a Facebook post early this month stated that he had not asked for any position.

The 93-year-old Marxist veteran, who was ignored by the party for the chief minister's post citing his advanced age and limitations, had stated he would continue to play the role of a 'sentinel' and protect the interest of the people.
