Telangana High Court to decide on suspended MLCs pleas by May 15th

. The bench said it will pass final orders by May 15 as per SC order.

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court on Wednesday began the final hearing on the petitions filed suspended MLCs challenging their suspension by TS Legislative Council chairman on the grounds of defection.

A vacation court bench comprising Acting CJ Raghavender Singh Chauhan and Justice Shameem Akhter is hearing the petitions filed by S. Ramulu Naik, K Yadava Reddy, and R Bhoopathi Reddy. The bench said it will pass final orders by May 15 as per SC order.

D. Prakash Reddy, the senior counsel appearing for Yadava Reddy, said the chairman came to the erroneous conclusion that his client had defected based only on news reports.
