‘Hazipur killer’ taken into custody

Hyderabad: Bommalaramaram police, who took custody of Marri Srinivas Reddy, 28, who is accused of sexually assaulting and murdering three minor girls in Hazipur began the interrogation. A Court in Nalgonda district has granted five days of police custody of accused for further investigation in the cases.

The police had earlier filed a petition before the court seeking five days custody of Srinivas Reddy, so as to question him in connection with the three cases of rape and murder of minor girls at his well in Hazipur village, and also to find if he was involved in any other offences. Srinivas Reddy was arrested by the Bommalaramaram police on April 30 and is said to have killed three minor girls.
