THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state leadership on Tuesday held the RSS responsible for triggering fresh round of violence in Kannur. The CPM leaders said peace had returned to the district after a series of peace initiatives taken by the government with the cooperation of different political parties. Political killings had not been reported even from the most sensitive areas for quite some time. Kodiyeri alleged that since LDF government came to power in May 25, 2016, the RSS had murdered 15 CPM workers. The RSS gangs were carrying out murders with the support BJP government at the Centre. The CPM state secretariat appealed to the party works to conduct peaceful protest across the state against the killing.
He urged the cadre to maintain restraint even in the event of grave provocation from the other side.
