As per the revised rents, TSRTC should pay Rs 68 crore for the last three years.

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued notices to TSRTC seeking arrears of land lease rents to Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station.
When the RTC procured the 18-acre land from GHMC, the rent was Rs 1 lakh per month as per the agreement and the tenure of the agreement was ended in 2014. Later, the GHMC revised the rents under supervision of the then additional commissioner Mr Shiva Kumar Naidu from Rs 12 lakh per annum to Rs 23 crore per annum. As per the revised rents, TSRTC should pay Rs 68 crore for the last three years.
An official from the GHMC said that the civic body issued a notice earlier and as there was no response from the management of TSRTC, they issued another notice for clearing dues.
