Hyderabad: Traffic cops issue order on parking

Instructing the officers to take strict action, Mr Kumar said that parking should not be allowed in front of establishments.

Hyderabad: In a notification issued on Monday, the traffic cops said that it will take stringent actions against both encroachment and illegal parking in the city.

In a review meeting ahead of the polls, ACP (traffic) Anil Kumar reviewed the menace of illegal parking that has become a source for congestion in the city.

Instructing the officers to take strict action, Mr Kumar said that parking should not be allowed in front of establishments. He also said to have ordered action against the establishments that allow parking in front of their shops.

Mr Kumar further added cases shall be booked along with photograph, date and time. The ACP (Traffic) also issued instructions to start enforcement from Monday onwards on illegal parking on the roads.

All officers were instructed to place bollards to stop two wheelers movement on the footpaths.
