Two reservoirs were no longer sources of drinking water as the city is getting water from the Godavari and Krishna rivers.
Hyderabad: Telangana state Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that the TRS will support the demand for special status for Andhra Pradesh.
GO No. 111 prohibits industries, major constructions, and residential colonies in the catchment areas of Himayatsagar and Osmansagar, extending up to 10 km from the full tank level of the reservoirs.
But Mr Rao said that the two reservoirs were no longer sources of drinking water as the city is getting water from the Godavari and Krishna rivers.
