Bengaluru: A 35-year-old rider died on the spot after his bike skidded on the road in KR Puram traffic police limits Monday early morning.
The deceased, Sumegh S. Savant, was a resident of Kaggadasapura and hailed from Belagavi district.
On his way to office in ITPL around 7 am, he was riding his Royal Enfield bike rashly. He lost control of the bike, skidded and his head hit the edge of footpath. Sumegh, who had suffered severe head injuries, was rushed to a hospital by passersby. But doctors declared him brought dead. Sumegh had married recently and had a young son.
The KR Puram traffic police have registered a case and have alerted his family members.
