Congress, P Chidambaram will vanish totally: Jayant Sinha
Sivaganga: Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha took a dig at Congress and former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram at the latter’s home turf and said the BJP under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has eclipsed the Congress and also its former Finance Minister.
This former venture capitalist, who is the son of BJP’s former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha, said the BJP’s growth graph is on upward trend and apart from ruling at the Centre the party had come to power in 17 States. “There is a connection between Hazaribagh (Lok Sabha constituency in Jharkhand) from where I won and Sivaganga where I am addressing this mammoth meeting on Saturday. I stand before you as a Union Minister and son of former Finance Minister. Here, the former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram of the Congress and his party is nowhere,” he said on Saturday while addressing the BJP members on the party’s foundation day (Sthapana diwas).
Both the Congress and its former FM would completely vanish and it would be BJP that would ensure its rule everywhere. “I am confident that BJP’s H. Raja (National secretary) will emerge victorious in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections for which we have already begun our poll related work," Mr. Sinha said. “BJP is a nationalistic party which is working on its three ideologies of service, development and nation,” he said.
