Hyderabad: There was high tension on the premises of Parliament on Thursday with heated arguments, challenges and counter challenges that took place between YSRCP and TD MPs. While the TD MPs staged a dharna at the Gandhi statue, the YSRCP MPs staged a dharna at Parliament entrance gate. The MPs of both parties are protesting with a demand to the Centre for granting ‘special status’ to AP.
TD MP J.C. Diwakar Reddy rushed to YSRCP MPs and asked whether they were ready to resign on ‘special status to AP’ issue and asked them to resign and fight for the state, if they have guts. Reacting on this, YSRCP MP Y.V. Subba Reddy said that they were ready to resign. YSRCP MP Y.V. Subba Reddy had on Wednesday demanded the resignations of TD ministers from the Union Cabinet.
Both TD and YSRCP MPs raised their voices and challenged each other. Meanwhile, TD MP J.C. Diwakar Reddy twirled his moustache and slapped his thighs challenging YSRCP MPs to resign. After seeing the situation, Parliamentary security personnel became alert. The situation came under control after MPs of both parties went into Parliament.
