No assurance' irks Andhra Pradesh doctors
Hyderabad: The lack of any assurance that 163 doctors reportedly belonging to AP will be repatriated as angered Telangana doctors who have called for a mass meeting on Tuesday to plan their future course of action. The TS Government Doctors JAC met up secretary Rama Krishna Rao on Monday and presented their case that 163 doctors had been wrongly included in the TS list and must be transferred to AP under the AP Re-organisation Act.
A senior doctor on condition of anonymity said, “The response was not very encouraging. He questioned the right of the doctors to point out these names when they had not been done by officers at the health and medical department. This is unacceptable.”
He said, “director of medical education Dr M Ramani was with us when we pointed out the anomalies to her and the officers.”
