CM Chandrababu Naidu loots' Seema for Amaravati

The RPS leader announced to take up Rayalaseema Chaitanya Yatra from Musapalli.

Anantapur: Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti founder Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy alleged that the state government is looting the rich minerals from Rayalaseema region and spending for capital at Amaravati.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu did nothing for the Rayalaseema and further diverting income to coastal parts.

The RPS leader, addressing a meeting of Rayalaseema Students Federation in Kurnool on Monday, observed that settlers at Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana were happy but the people residing in Rayalaseema region were facing worse situation due to negligence by both state and Central governments.

"We are being treated as migrants and no concern on backwardness of the region for us," Mr Rajasekhar Reddy said and added that not even single scheme and package was sanctioned for the Rayalaseema region during bifurcation process.

"How the new industries would come up and provide wage for the people," he pointed out.

He stressed the need for separate Rayalaseema state agitation which will be the only solution to escape from being looted by the governments.

The RPS leader announced to take up Rayalaseema Chaitanya Yatra from Musapalli, the native village of Mahayogi Lakshmavva of Adoni in Kurnool district from February 14.
