Hyderabad: A 20-year-old woman who went missing from home was found dead in a lake in Dundigal. Police said that J. Vinoda had left home after a tiff with husband Vikram.
Vikram and Vinoda hailing from Medak district were married a year ago and were staying in a rented flat in Dundigal village. Both were working for private firms in Shapur.
On Thursday after returning from work, an argument broke out between them. Late in the evening, Vinoda left home. When she did not return, Vikram lodged a complaint with the police.
On Saturday evening, locals saw a woman’s body floating in Gagillapur lake and informed the police. Police informed Vikram about the body who identified it as Vinoda’s.
A suspicious death case was registered.
"There are no clues about her death. We are awaiting the autopsy report to know how she died," police officials said.
