Puducherry: In a candid admission, Welfare Minister M Kandasamy on Monday admitted his ignorance in using debit or credit cards at a protest by the Mahila wing of ruling congress here against demonetisation.
The minister said that a majority of people in villages in Puducherry do not know how to use the cards as most hamlets do not have machines.
"I myself do not know how to use the debit or credit cards how does one then expect rural people to do so,? he asked.
He urged voters to ensure NDA's defeat at the next Lok Sabha poll and ensure a Congress win "so that a clear and confusion free administration would be available to people under AICC Vice president Rahul Gandhi's leadership."
