Chandrababu Naidu ignoring' ministers and MLAs
Vijayawada: The TD government is not willing to transfer district collectors and has been postponing transfers for the past six months. This is the same as cabinet expansion.
Though many ministers and MLAs had requested Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to shift collectors of their respective districts whom they found not caring the public representatives, still the Chief Minister had not acted on their requests.
Even those district collectors, who have completed two and half years of term after their postings, are still continuing at the same places.
The ministers and MLAs are worried that the Chief Minister has no trust in them and is depending on the Collectors in all the matters, and is not even daring to transfer them and mentioned that it’s not fair in the democracy.
After the Telugu Desam government came to power, it first made mass shuffling of district collectors and later, no general transfers happened in these two and half years, except in Nellore, Visakhapatnam, Kadapa and Srikakulam, as most of them moved to Central services.
A Cabinet minister said, “The district collectors are not regarding the ministers, which we had taken to the notice of the Chief Minister, but he is continuing his administration with IAS officials ignoring the public representatives.”
A ruling party MLA said: “The Chief Minister was well aware of the political governance and he was intentionally ignoring the public representatives, which is unethical, but still we have to accept it as our fate as we are regional parties.”
