Minister MB Patil Commits to Expedite Khata Documents for Honaga Industrial Unit
Belagavi: Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil has committed to provide Khata documents to applicants with units in the Honaga Industrial area on the city outskirts, assuring completion within the next 31 days.
He made this announcement during a meeting held at Suvarna Soudha on Thursday, where Minister Patil engaged with representatives of the Belagavi North Industrial Association.
Minister Patil stated that among the 233 units in the location, 202 have already finalized their sale deeds, and 131 units have successfully obtained their khatas. Responding to the appeal from industrialists to facilitate khatas for the remaining units, the Minister pledged to complete the process within the stipulated 31-day timeframe.
A decision was made during the meeting to collect property tax based on the 2017 guidance value, a resolution that found agreement among the attending industrialists.
Minister Patil also mentioned that industrialists have sought the allocation of the canteen building for establishing their administrative office, a request the government will consider.
Association President Shivakumar, Vice-President Nagendra, Rural Development Chief Secretary Anjum Pervez, Industries Department Principal Secretary S Selvakumar, Industries Department Secretary Ramesha, and Belagavi District Commissioner Nitish Patil were present.
