CM Revanth Reddy Signs Files of Six Guarantees, a Job for Rajini

Hyderabad: In his first act as Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy signed two files, one to create the legal framework for the implementation of the Six Guarantees promised by the Congress during the Assembly poll campaign, and the second to give the first government job under the Congress regime to Rajini, a physically challenged postgraduate from Nampally.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his election campaigning in Telangana recently promised that the Six Guarantees will be made into a law, if the party is voted to power. If a legal framework is established, the implementation of six guarantees will be binding on the state government, Rahul Gandhi had said.

In October, Revanth Reddy had promised to give the first job to Rajini, who met him at Gandhi Bhavan. Rajini explained her plight stating that she could not secure employment in the private sector or in the government despite completing her MCom. Revanth Reddy had given her a Congress guarantee card and promised that if the party was elected to power, it would give her the first job.

Fulfilling his promise, Revanth Reddy extended an invitation to Rajini to attend the swearing-in ceremony. She was invited to the dais after the oath-taking ceremony where Chief Secretary A. Santhi Kumari was ready with the appointment letter. Revanth Reddy handed over the letter to Rajini on the dais amid huge applause from the people.
