Hyderabad: 4 held for robbery attempt at Deputy Speaker house
Hyderabad: An attempt was made by four people to break into the house of Deputy Speaker T. Padmarao Goud on Friday night. A complaint was filed by his son Rameshwar Goud with the Market police in Secunderabad.
At 3.15 in the night, the family heard some noise on the terrace, the complaint said. They could hear some people moving on the terrace and were awakened.
Mr Rameshwar Goud’s wife woke him up and alerted him to the sound. When he went to check, he found that a person was hiding between two buildings by holding the grills. Mr Goud told the police that they were were trying to enter the house. Three more people emerged and the family panicked and dialled 100. The police rushed to the spot and arrested four persons. The arrested were identified as B. Suresh, Gangavishan, Habeeb, Suresh Chowdary and Khan Singh. They claimed they were living in the neighbouring house and were looking inside the Gouds’ house. Mr Goud has asked the police to carry out proper investigation and only then lodge an FIR against them.
