BJP loves Andrha Pradesh, says Prakash Javadekar
TIRUPATI: Union HRD minister Mr Prakash Javadekar said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi had sanctioned 9 national premier educational institutions to the State of Andhra Pradesh in a record time of four years, which proved that BJP loved Andhra Pradesh and Telugu people.
Addressing the media persons in Tirupati on Friday, Mr. Javadekar said, “About 9 premier institutes including IIT, IIM, IISER, IIIT, tribal university etc, were sanctioned to AP in the last 4 years. No other state in the country has received so many institutions. Instead of thanking the Prime Minster, Chief Minister Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu has been criticising Modi every single day.” He also said that in the month of January 2019, the Phase-1 work at IIT, Tirupati will be inaugurated and it will be developed on par with other IITs in the country.
Criticising Mr Naidu for spreading lies amongst the people of the State, Mr Javadekar accused the CM for trying to tarnish the image of the BJP and said, “Mr Naidu should realise that he would not have come to power without the support of the BJP and Pawan Kalyan in the 2014 general elections. He received all the benefits from the Central Government given to AP, and then started mudslinging BJP.
