Hyderabad: Union minister of state for environment and forests Ashwini Kumar Choubey said that BRS leaders were involved in the liquor scam and steeped in corruption. He said that the entire nation knows about the link between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and MLC K. Kavitha. He said that no one can save Kavitha in this case.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Choubey said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi made it clear that those who are involved in the scam will be arrested soon. Both Aam Admi Party and BRS are involved in the liquor scam, he said.
Mission Bhagirath, on which Rs 35,000 crore was spent, has not mitigated water woes of the people even after the expenditure had shot up to Rs 50,000 crore, he said and added that water is not being made available even for four hours.
Telangana tops in the consumption of liquor, he said.
Education is being deliberately neglected to keep people in ignorance so that they could be ruled with an iron hand, he said.
Choubey said that Dharani has become a money-spinner for the ruling party leaders. Once BJP comes to power it will be closed and the land records system being implemented by the Centre will be extended here, he said.
The Congress party, which imposed emergency and arrested people, is against democratic values. It is the ‘C’ team of BRS and hence people should vote for the BJP, Choubey said.
