Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) authorities on Tuesday destroyed internal roads, survey stones and survey stones in three real estate ventures at Nunna in Vijayawada Rural mandal, terming them unauthorised layouts built without obtaining approval from the authority.
APCRDA commissioner Vivek Yadav directed officials to destroy the unauthorised layouts, which are on survey numbers 37P, 15/1P, 2P and 219/1, 3 along the road to Vikas the Engineering College at Nunna.
APCRDA assistant town planner Prabhakar Rao, Nunna panchayat secretary G.T.V. Ramana and other officials supervised the demolition using excavators. Officials subsequently put up boards at these ventures saying they are illegal.
Vivek Yadav asked people to be wary of real estate people selling plots without obtaining permission from APCRDA. Otherwise, they could end up losing their money.
The commissioner pointed out that there are various ventures in and around Nunna that have come up without permission of APCRDA. He asked people to inform CRDA officials about unauthorised layouts on WhatsApp No. 70955 99838 and website http://crda.ap.gov.in
