Tension grows between TRS MLAs, ministers, governance hit

It is also rumoured that Gadwal MLA, Krishna Mohan Reddy, and minister, Niranjan Reddy, are not on good terms.

Hyderabad: The war between ministers and members of the Legislative Assembly seems to be heating up, with senior MLAs believing they have been ignored and those junior to them where newcomers to the party have been given ministerial posts.

Senior MLAs are keeping a distance from ministers touring their constituencies and ministers are confining themselves to their home constituencies instead of touring the entire district.

Sources in the Telangana Rashtra Samiti said that most ministers are facing this problem and are therefore not monitoring the implementation of schemes and development programmes announced by the state government in their constituencies.

Sources pointed out that Ch. Malla Reddy, despite being a minister, has confined himself to his home constituency and

agriculture minister, S. Niranjan Reddy and excise minister, V. Srinivas Goud, are also either visiting their home constituencies or staying in Hyderabad.

It is also rumoured that Gadwal MLA, Krishna Mohan Reddy, and minister, Niranjan Reddy, are not on good terms.

Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav, is also rumoured to be not on good terms with MLAs as his son’s defeat in the Lok Sabha elections has been attributed to the MLAs.

The same situation is said to be prevailing in Adilabad district.

It is rumoured that minister, A. Indrakaran Reddy, is not on good terms with the MLAs.
