CHENNAI: MDMK leader Vaiko met DMK working president MK Stalin at Madurai airport on Tuesday evening. The two had a brief discussion for nearly for 15 minutes in the airport. police sources said that Vaiko had waited for more than 10 minutes to meet Stalin. Interestingly, Stalin was seated next to Madras high court Chief Justice Indira Banerjee when they travelled from Chennai to Madurai on Indigo flight, said the source. Stalin visited Madurai to lead a protest meeting against demonetisation on Wednesday.
In a related development, the city police at the last minute denied permission for protest at the proposed place at Anna Nagar, and the venue has now been changed to Palaganatham.
